Scuba Diving

These eels are actually quite long, but this is about as much of them as you usually see.
The closer you get the lower they go in their hole.
But if you stick around quietly they'll slowly emerge more and more. The Wakatobi Islands lie southeast of Sulawesi in the Flores Sea, in the middle of Indonesia but far from the USA. We got here instead of, say, the Florida Keys or Baja California because its reefs offer roughly 3x the biological diversity of the Caribbean & the Sea of Cortez. And your dollar goes 3x as far, too.
